To our valued customers;

As of February 16, 2010 we received a modified notice to the January 5th recall of Huntington Meats Packing Inc., our former beef supplier. During the initial dates of the the recall we did not use any of their meat in our products. The recall was expanded due to improper paper work, thus including a period of time when we were using their product in our Beef tamales and Chili con Carne products. The recall specifies raw meat products, and since all of our products are cooked to 185 degrees (well above the temperature that kills pathogens) we feel very confident about the safety of our products.  

However, we feel that to meet our standard of quality we are issuing a recall of product with the information below.  We have already taken steps to contain the products in our own warehouse, anything made after the code date of 10007 did not use Huntington Meats product.  If you would like to request a refund please send in proof of purchase to:

Thank you for your time and co-operation.  Once again this was not a recall on XLNT Foods product, but of Huntington Meat supplier.   We no longer use this company as our Meat supplier.
